Very cool in the middle of the lava flows. We stayed in a primitive site which was down in a low spot with trees and lots of shade. Other sites were on top of the hill with a great view but no trees and out in the open. Nice trail through the lava with many info stops. Great staff and very clean.
Sites are small, restrooms are just nice clean porta pots, showers are pay per minute, and the store has about three items in it, but the location is great for going to the north rim, plenty of big shade trees, and very nice and helpful staff.
Wonderful place. Sites had lots of room. They have a nice game room and four wheeled bikes to rent, lots of fun. Only problem was the person in space 46 had a rottweiler which was very well behaved, but also two cats running lose 24 hours a day. I had some problems keeping the cat off my motorcycle and twice I complained to different campground employees and no one seemed to care.
Nice KOA, friendly and helpful staff, nice store with game room, they show movies in a barn, have a nice mini-golf course, and rent 3 and 4 wheeled bikes. No complaints at all with this park. Also a basketball court, large grass field, and nice nature walk by the river.
We chose a tent site here which was very nice, on the pond, nice grass, water, trees, very quiet, and picnic table. Lady in office was rude, store was almost non existent, restaurant was closed, and the bathrooms, showers were very far away.
Nice forest area, lots of shade. Bear boxes and tables at every site. Very roomy (not to close to neighbors) sites. Great store with everything close by. Crater Lake was beautiful, a must see when in Oregon.
Sites are close together but the forest is so thick you don't even know you have neighbors. All sites have water, elec, and tables. Restrooms, showers are close to every site, nice trails to hike, and great staff.
Very cool being next to the race track. You can go just about anywhere as long as you do not pass the spectator fence. Great views, very clean, friendly staff, and shade trees. Easy access to Hwy 68 (Monerey-Salinas Hwy).
Did not notice to many rules. Lots of trees, very nice and friendly staff. One of the best parks we have ever stayed at. We were on a motorcycle pulling a popup camper, a friend met us there in his van and parked in our site, they only charged him $5.00. Defiantly will stay again.
